Adobe Creative Cloud

Some programs on campus have design-specific requirements that necessitate the use of a different portfolio system.  If you are in one of those programs, or if you would like to make your portfolio more of a "showcase" style, the options on this page may be a good fit.  These require you to use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (free for students, but must be renewed annually) -- click here for more information on how to get Creative Cloud.

Creative Cloud Options:

  • Adobe Portfolio:  This is a new product from Adobe with template options that will allow you to get started quickly.  If you're not familiar with HTML, this is a good option to try.  Support is available through Adobe by clicking here.
  • Adobe Spark:  This tool allows you to quickly create pages, videos, or social sharing content on the Web and requires no coding or HTML knowledge.  Support is available through Adobe by clicking here.
  • Adobe Muse:  This product allows you to create websites without any coding knowledge.  You will need access to your own domain or web storage in order to host your portfolio using this option.  Support is available through Adobe by clicking here.
  • Adobe Dreamweaver:  This is a more advanced tool intended for web designers and developers.  You will need access to your own domain or web storage in order to host your portfolio using this option.   Support is available through Adobe by clicking here.

Please note:  Once you leave the University, you will need to purchase your own subscription to Creative Cloud in order to use these tools.  Think carefully about whether this is the right option for you before creating your portfolio!
